Who is Second-PlexusSecond Plexus Provides Virtual Land hosting in virtual world OSGrid. We host a number of regions that collectively are called the SP-Mainland and also provide Private Estates. The Administration of the SP-Mainland are the Stewarts. We currently provide this service using the OpenSim software hooked to the OSGrid. For more information on the OSGrid, Visit http://www.osgrid.org . Currently there is No set up fee for Estates, only the monthly maintenance Fee's. Land is Hosted on industry standard servers hooked through a 1GBS Network. Software is updated by our staff when new software versions are available from OSGrid.org We Belong to the AVW (Association of Virtual Worlds) We have an In world office located in the OSGrid in the region of Luna Landing. The Region of Luna Landing is part of what we consider the SP Mainland. On the SP mainland you will find many public areas and attractions such as Crystal Lake a place to let your Avatar relax socialize and enjoy the virtual Nature, PU Plexus University in the region of cadis made available to educators free of charge, The region of moonlight bay and moonlight inlet both have public shelters for outings and water for boat use and MLI has a public beach. There are many regions containing public waterways and ocean to enjoy. We also provide an opportunity to own land in regions contained on the SP Mainland. Technical Note: For server security, The regions hosted on the SP servers are part of the SP network. IP addresses reflected by OSG are only accurate to the IP addresses used by the NetGear Prosafe Smart switch that connects SP to the internet thus to the OSGrid. IP Address of such servers within the SP network will not be revealed, and thus hardware neighbors are those that use the same IP addresses through the network switch and not that of shared servers. Servers are using windows server 2K3 software and the latest available OS simulator software provided by the OSGrid.org website, OSGrid thus will reflect that information. |
